A Second Chance Another Relook

In this week's post, I am going to discuss one other instructional blog that I had added to my list of blogs that I am following but did not critique its usefulness on my path as an instructional designer. It was when I read a blog of one of my fellow student's blog titled, Shannon’s world: Instructional Designer on his post, Exploring the Instructional Design Community. In this post, he described Rapid E-Learning as a great blog that had great articles posted there, articles that are well presented for readers in an effort to make them easy to recognize them due to their clear labels. This made to reconsider and have a second chance of visiting the blog and give it a relook. It is a fact that it is a great blog I even enjoyed the unique statement that meets your eyes when you open it that says  “ Practical, real-world tips for E-learning success!” –Tom. The blog does have three major things I normally hunt for in a blog as a newcomer to the world of instructional designers. These are the learning platform, the resources to use, and the community to enquire from and discuss issues that resonate within my field. It even has a list of free E-Learning resources I can try and see the possibilities from them and explore.

All I can say is that it has it all, it has interesting topics addressed these include but are not limited to “ 3 simple Techniques to guide your learner's attention”, which is quite an issue all instructional designers seek to address at all points. It also has another interesting way of looking at the learning process like in the post,” Maybe All your learner needs is a baby shower”, which covers 3 ways to make your e-learning content relevant. it is a true fact that this blog deserves a Relook that I gave it.
