The Doorway to Professional learning communities( Wk1AssgnChimboraJ)

Introduction

In this post, I am going to focus on sites and blogs which as an instructional designer student see fit to have them on easy access mode. These sites and blogs are going to bring light for me to map my way forward in the career of Instructional designing. I am going to highlight three things I have observed, the first is the type of content discussed, secondly the usefulness it has got for me as an upcoming instructional designer, and lastly how I think it is going to be able to provide me with great ideas going into the future.

The E-learning Designer’s Academy

This is a great blog where I can some coaching for E-Learning, Visual Design, Instructional designing learning development, and project management. The good thing is the experiences that are shared which is an inspiration for young Instructional designers like me. This made me see how useful it will be for me as I will require developing and perfecting myself. The blog is also educational it gives a different way of looking at instructional designing especially in the area of E-learning. I strongly think that this blog is going to best for me, to always visit when I wish to develop and sharpen my skills. I also have inspiring posts on freelance Instructional designing aspects, forming a basis for how one can make it against all odds and become an independent designer. It is also important for me now and in the future as I move into the future of my career.

Instructional Design Central

This another blog that caught my eye. Mainly because of the material that is contained by the blog. the three major issues I desire to benefit from this blog are the resources it has, the content, and the community I can join and become part of it and build myself. Having these three areas proves its usefulness to me as I journey in the instructional designer path. It provides good resources to use as an instructional designer. The issue of the community is very important to me because that is where one gets pieces of advice and knowledge in building self. That highlights that as I move on the need for this bog to keep me going and focused.

The Best Elearning Authoring Tools & Software (2021 Update)

This is a site that has information I desire to have when it comes to the issue of authoring tools for e-learning material. It contains the knowledge about authoring tools and gives a moment of classifying them a bit, then provides a guide on choosing the best authoring tools and provides a review of each tool. The other good aspect I saw is the comparison of the tools. This is going to serve as a guide when I am considering tools that I can use for instructional design. As an instructional designer, there are a lot of things to be considered when one is authoring an e-learning material, with this site I have all the information I might need at hand.
